On June 20, 2025, the Biportal UBE Endoscopy Workshop was successfully held at Obispado’s Hospital in Monterrey, N.L. Organized by Arthromed, in collaboration with BONSS Medical, ISUBE, AMCEDIC, and the Spine Endoscopic Surgery Study Group (AMGEBIC), the event brought together spine specialists from across the country for an intensive surgical training day.

Event Development

The course focused on the theoretical and practical teaching of the UBE (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy) technique, one of the most advanced methods in minimally invasive spine surgery. The program included academic sessions, clinical presentations, and hands-on training on animal specimens, allowing participants to directly apply the knowledge gained.

The guest speakers delivered detailed presentations on the principles, indications, and benefits of the UBE technique, as well as its applications in complex cases. They then led supervised surgical practice sessions, providing personalized guidance on the execution of precise endoscopic approaches.
